1. The Bible Study Guide Journal Gives You the Backstory Before You Read a Single Verse
This is the one I'd get first. A lot of that lost feeling comes from opening a book of the Bible cold. You don't know who wrote it or who it was written for, so whole chapters read like someone else's mail.
The journal has one page for every book, Genesis through Revelation, 66 in all. Each page lays out the author and audience, when and why the book was written, the setting, the main themes, and what it shows you about God. You read that page first, then open your Bible already knowing what you're walking into.
At the bottom of each page there's room to write the big idea in your own words, one truth to hold onto and one thing to do that week. It's A5, roughly paperback size, with a sturdy PU cover. If you read a Catholic Bible, there's a Catholic edition too.
66 pages · One page per book · About 5 minutes a page · A5 size
